Maintenance Item Addressed - Front Headlight Lens Fogging
Driver and passenger side headlight lenses are fogged over cutting at least 35% light pass through resulting poor night driving visibility.
Root Causes:
Plastic headlight lens exposed to environment without adequate protection
Plastic dries out over time causing cracking and discoloration
Corrective Action:
Replace both driver and passenger side headlight lens housing new
Preventative Actions:
Annual headlight lens sealant application post installation of new housing
GX470 stored in climate controlled garage
