I am an Automotive Engineer with 20+ years of Japanese automotive engineering experience. Working with Japanese vehicles has formed my own maintenance measures and preventive schedules that I am sharing with you the reader and viewer on Substack and YouTube.
The Y2KLR publication is what I wish I was taught in Engineering school and in my early personal and professional career!

A note on the writing
The TLR publication is both written and filmed. There are complimenting videos showing the transformation of maintenance performed with some talking head propaganda and thoughts. I prefer the written word giving preference to details with photographs that are published in a newsletter / reference format.
The visual companion to Y2KLR™ lives on YouTube and Instagram, where I publish the practice and transformation of my project cars with and without commentary.
The voice here is restrained on purpose. Going against current Automotive trends is on purpose. Y2KLR’s theme is what it is recommending: an analysis approach to preventive maintenance keeping older luxury SUVs reliable and on the road for many years to come.
